Whilst this website started off with an emphasis on trauma, I now offer online counselling for a much wider range of difficulties. Over the last 18 months, I have been helping people with anxiety, depression, relational problems, addiction, trauma, spiritual abuse, boarding school syndrome, and difficulty with emotions. So please feel free to contact me no matter what difficulties you are facing.
My goal is to provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together through the difficulties you face.
I am an accredited counsellor with the NCPS and also registered with the ACC, both of which are accredited registers with the Professional Standards Agency. In private practice I work within the NCPS and ACC ethical frameworks. In my agency work I additionally work according to the BACP ethical code. I work with people of all faiths and none, and approach faith issues with the Churchill framework. You can see my qualifications and experience here.
I do all of my counselling online via video. Whilst I enjoy both in the room and online counselling (and have benefitted from both types myself), I find that online counselling makes access easier (especially for myself as I have a disability called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome).
My rate is £50 for a 50 minute session. In the future I hope to be in a position to offer a sliding scale.
I can also offer you a free 20 minutes video chat so that you can meet me and ask any questions you have about my counselling services. I recommend this so that you can get a feel for if we’d be a good fit together. It’s important to me that you find a counsellor you’ll feel comfortable with.
